It's important to note that the addition of casters will increase the overall height of the cooler by 4 inches. Does this unit require more electricity to run when it is in a warmer, high humidity environment?
This is a good question; the short answer is yes. This cooler and most refrigerators are built to run in a controlled environment, around 72°F and under 50%RH. The warmer that environment, the longer the refrigeration will have to run to maintain the set temperature, thus using more electricity. Also, if the humidity level exceeds 50% you may experience condensation on the glass doors.
