Questions & Answers
Have a Question?

Is the freezer 115 or 230 volts from factory?
Thank you for asking this very important question. This freezer requires both 115 Volt and 230 Volt power. This freezer has a locking four-prong plug installed; this is a NEMA L14-20P plug. You will need to have your electrician install the matching L14-20R receptacle. To wire the L14-20R, four wires are used, two hot wires will come from a required 20-amp two pole breaker, that supplies the 230 volts. A neutral (white) wire and a ground. 115 Volts is supplied by the internal use of one of the line (hot) wires from the 230-volt breaker and the neutral. Please consult your electrician and feel free to call us for more information.
